Adoption Assistance Picnic

This weekend we attended our local agency's adoption picnic. Benjamin had a great time; he rode the ponies, played on the playground and enjoyed a picnic lunch and ice cream. It is so amazing to see children from so many different countries in one place. Our local agency has assisted families in adopting children from 26 different countries. I didn't even know it was possible to adopt from half that many countries. I am so proud that my family is a part of it.

I got so many of Benjamin's "looks" that I had to post all of them.

Benjamin was so brave and climbed up the rope to a slide into the ball pit. It was the first time he has ever dared to go so high.

Daddy and Benjamin climbing high.

Benjamin is a SkeeBall, and related games, fanatic. He almost never gets the ball past the ramp, but it doesn't bother him. He plays for what seems like hours and we are only out one token.

You can't pose this. Luckily I had my camera to capture this adorable moment.

Wonder what he's thinking?

Snow, snow and more snow!

Lexington got a lovely snow of five inches this past weekend. We enjoyed it as much as we could before it all melted away by Monday afternoon.

A very happy boy indeed!

We didn't have much luck making snowballs or a snowman.
The snow was just not wet enough.

My little snow angel.

What you see are Benjamin's footprints...and only his. His little legs have to take so many steps to get where he is going. :)

The End.
