While Grammy and Uncle Kyle were here we took a little day trip to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, KY. The Shakers were a religious group founded in the 1800's. We also went for a ride on the Kentucky River aboard the Dixie Belle Riverboat.

A view of High Bridge, the first cantilever bridge built on the American continent.
Building on the bridge began in 1851, but was abandoned during the Civil War. The bridge was completed in 1877. At the time it was the highest railroad bridge in the US.

How many pictures can one person take Mom?
Can't you see I'm trying to build something here?

When asked to smile, Benjamin grins and squints his eyes; so cute.

Benjamin's Meme and Papaw came to visit for a couple of days. We had such a great time and Benjamin kept them very busy. We visited the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park and celebrated Father's Day with everyone.

Now, how does that go again Pa?

They may be small, but they're still bigger than me!

It isn't nearly as soft as my kitty cats.

Batter up! Lookout Meme!
